Minotaur

Basic Information[]

This was a Greek Monster with the head of a bull and the body of a man.

When King Minos was young he prayed to Poseidon to let him have a White bull (a sign of support) the Creten Bull, he was going to kill it when he decided to keep it thinking Poseidon wouldn't mind. To punish Minos, Poseidon made Minos' wife fall madly in love with the bull. The offspring of the bull and the woman was the Minotaur.

The Minotaur was imprisoned in King Minos's labyrinth in Crete and was being fed by eating ordinary people from Greece. It eventually was killed by Theseus.For more see this.
